Help us to provide life changing support to the Armed Forces community

In these unprecedented times The Royal British Legion is working hard to support the most vulnerable in our society, be it older veterans that we care for, those who suffer from social isolation, or those who are simple overwhelmed by the challenge associated with the Covid-19 pandemic.

By taking part in My Poppy Run you’re raising funds for Poppy Appeal 2020 which will  help us to ensure that those who have served and their families who have made sacrifices for us are being looked after no matter what challenges the country faces.

Dave Pegram

Dave proudly served for 10 years in the army but collapsed in a PT session. He had torn discs and a damaged spinal cord and was medically discharged. At rock bottom he suffered mental health issues and his wife became his carer.

He was made aware of Bravo 22, an arts based recovery programme and he hasn’t looked back.

“The Legion has gone above and beyond. It’s given me a sense of pride again and it’s proved that although I have suffered quite extensive injuries, I can do anything if I set my mind to it.”

Without you we cannot provide the life changing support that our Armed Forces community needs and deserves.

No one should have to walk the road to recovery alone. But together we are unstoppable.
